SINGAPORE: A fire broke out in a flat at Block 114 Teck Whye Lane on Thursday (Feb 12), leaving one injured.
According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), the fire took place in one of the bedrooms. SCDF said it was alerted to the incident at 9.17am and sent a fire engine, two red rhinos, two fire bikes and an ambulance to the scene.
The fire was extinguished with a water jet and a Chinese female victim was sent to National University Hospital (NUH).

SINGAPORE - An altar in a Bedok Housing Board flat caught fire on Sunday night, but none of the unit's occupants were injured.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call for help at about 9pm, and dispatched two fire engines and one red rhino to Block 615, Bedok Reservoir Road.
The fire was put out with one water jet within five minutes. No injuries were reported.

8 Feb 2015 - Fire breaks out at Bishan Street 22 coffeeshop

SINGAPORE: A fire broke out on the ground floor of a coffeeshop at Block 284 Bishan Street 22 on Sunday morning (Feb 8).
According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), the fire started from a kitchen stove in one of the food stalls. SCDF said it was alerted to the incident at 11.33am and sent a fire engine, a red rhino, as well as a support vehicle to the scene.
The fire was extinguished with a water jet within 5 minutes. No injuries were reported. SCDF confirmed that there were no injuries and is investigating the cause of the fire.
3 Feb 2015 - Car bursts into flames at Lorong Limau

SINGAPORE: The sound of an explosion jolted residents at Lorong Limau in Balestier on Tuesday (Feb 3) after a car caught fire.
MediaCorp hotline caller Ivan, said he was having his meal when he heard the explosion. He said a van that was parked beside the car was also burnt.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the fire at 6.30pm at Block 76 Lorong Limau. Its officers put out the fire using two water jets. No one was injured.
